Handling your bunny!

  • Never lift  a rabbit by its ears they are very sensitive
  • Never hold a rabbit by its limbs you could hurt your rabbit
  • Never hold a rabbit by its tail,its  just plain mean
  • Never yell at your rabbit there are ways to teach them
  • Never hit your rabbit your setting it up for bad behavior and it will be frightened of you
  • Never handle your rabbit roughly
  • Your rabbit needs to feel secure while being held so make sure you craddle it close to your body
  • Make sure you always have one free hand to control your rabbit if something should frighten it
  • Remember the more you handle your rabbit the friendlier it will become

 

Hay for your bunny

I can't stress enough the importance of hay in your bunnies diet. Hay helps give your bunny a good sorce of fiber in its daily diet it also help keep your bunny from getting a hair ball from digesting fur from grooming its self. There are diffrent kinds of hay available such as timothy, alfalfa used for young bunnies and oat hay. Some large bales come with a mixture of these kinds of hay the best kind for your bunny is timothy!
